What does the pH have to be and the temp of the water?

pH about 7ish if I recall and temp about 76 - 78. They aren't especially fussy.

Two won't work, one will probably kill the other. You need 3 to 5.

I own piranhas.

By the way pihranas are hardly as exciting as you'd think. Your not gonna see it rip thru goldfish you put in there or antyhing, In fact you'll be lucky if you catch him eating at all.

piranhas are the worlds most BORING fish man...dont bother...they are fun until you get sick of hearing yourself say you have piranhas.

Oscars are much cooler fish...they eat meat like piranhas but have personality as well...many owners describe them like dogs

i cant keep a fish alive for more than 2 weeks so hell i wouldnt be bored with it by the time it died

Hey, Ive owned 3 differnt types of Piranha's, they are fairly easy to care for. However, ive never owned any Black's, I had a few friends that have and the results were pretty bad. From waht they told me, black Piranha's are so agressive that they eat each other. One guy had bought 3 and kept them in a 180gallon tank, within 2 months only one was left.

Whats funny is, any type of fish will usually kill and eat a sick or dying fish. Theses fuckers would bite at eachother when in perfect health. Ive seen single death bites, lol...Fun to watch though.

But then again, buy 2 and see what happens. At worst you'll lose just one.
