Hi,

Anyone with recent experience in purchasing a home in Costa Rica... can you drop me an email?

Not something we're doing right away... but my daughter is only 2 years away from graduation, and so we are starting to consider it.

Primarily - I've been reading up re: financing, and everything I"ve read says to steer clear of any local financing due to outrageous interest rates. So, what - if you want to buy a property down there you pay cash on the barrell? Or are there domestic solutions?

The proprieties are probably way cheaper then here. Take a look arround if you already got a house you can probably afford a good one there if you sell yours
