If you're shopping for an LCD Monitor

Just bought the new Envision 7220. About $500 and it has a cool designed swivel and up and down tube and does full pivot too. Crystal clear display, text ultra sharp and gorgeous color saturation and contrast.

Highly recommend this one. Got it at CompUSA.

:thumbsup

we're moving these out the door.

Thanks bro! I have been looking for a good one. Saw some good ones at Best Buy. I also stopped by Staples. Those were horrible. They were all so blurry and dark.

Wow, that's a big one. I tried different sizes and I like 17" LCD's the best which are the same display as a 19" CRT.

This one I got is great with the pivot feature. The resolution is unreal.

Envision monitors are manufactured by TPV, currently the world?s second-largest manufacturer of PC monitors. In 2000, TPV produced 12 million monitors.

Yeah, I also got a 173T. I will never ever go back to a CRT again.

Im actually looking into getting a new monitor and i saw those... are those stupid cupholder things on the sides removable? they cheapen the look of the whole monitor.

aside from that one, my main purchase for a monitor would be the silicon graphics 1600sw. for about the same price as that i could grab a used one off ebay. the only con is is having to deal with a multilink adapter...

I have the Samsung Synvmaster 192T and i love it. Might get another one but this time the 193T since there are no 192 anymore but they are almost the same but think the 193T has pivot too.

That was the first thing I checked. Yes those holders aren't attached, so you have the option.

The up and down tube and pivot is really sweet and works great.

The pivot sounds cool for Photoshop work ... I have a 21" Sony (CTR though), it's supposed to be pro-level so I'd stick to it for a while :)

Yeh, I got mine setup and clicked in some ultra high rez pics and it was like you could reach into the screen and touch them. Totally 3D quality and perfect color saturation.

I was looking at Samsungs, and Sony's side by side and the Envision's had more brightness and liveliness. Text was ultra sharp, and I like the design, pivot capability and the easy glide up and down height tube. They include Pivot Pro software also.

Once you go LCD you can't even look at CRT's again. The difference is so profound you'll be mesmerized by the beauty of the images.
