No porn sites, just checked for my sites, and they aren't in there.
But my gambling ones are. :Graucho

Their mainstream results are god damned impressive. In a search for my company, I've just found some very deep and highly relevant things I never saw on the other major engines.

Babel 04-14-2004 08:14 PM

Everybody wanna replace google it seems

Brujah 04-14-2004 08:15 PM

I kinda like it from the perspective of a surfer.

"URL Short Cuts: At A9.com you can search directly from the browser URL box by typing: a9.com/query"

so is that.

AnalProbe 04-14-2004 11:46 PM

Indeed. They've done a lot of spidering...it seems to have a lot of forum entries, etc.

Its gonna heat up. Search engines are still in their infancy. Google better go public now before Microsoft kicks its ass.

rowan 04-15-2004 12:17 AM

I wonder how it filters the results? Most of my TGPs have ICRA rating so I guess that's one way they do it, but with some quick tests there are still a few oddball results returned that point indirectly to the site anyway...

looking pretty good :thumbsup
