Best Paysite Content Management Script For The Price
I have been looking for a paysite content management script for a few weeks now. I think I found the best one for the price. It is called SiteDepth. I haven't found one that can do everything this can.
Here are some of the features.
1. You can manage multiple websites as long as they are on the same server.
2. Completely customizable templates that can be edited right in your browser using a visual editing tool.
3. You can create users and only give them access to certain websites, and certain functions (admin users have access to everything, general users can only add previews, galleries, videos and news)
4. Integrates with your design easily; just paste in 2 lines of PHP for each page you want content to appear on.
5. Gallery Scheduling: Set a date when you want the gallery to appear, and it will automatically be visible in your member?s area on that date. You can also set a date after which the gallery won't appear.
6. Upload a zip file containing all gallery images, set start date, end date (optional), name, description / comments, upsell text, link and banner (optional), and they will be re-sized, copyrighted (optional), a dial-up size will be created (optional), and a thumbnail will be created. You also have the choice to make a zip file, or to have the gallery just be a zip file (no other images)
7. You can set an image from each gallery to appear in the free area of your website, for listing in an "upcoming galleries" page, a "recently added galleries" page, or both. By default the first image in each gallery is selected.
8. Members can vote on which galleries they like. They can also select how the galleries are ordered (default order you select, date ascending and descending, alphabetical, or popularity).
9. News function for adding and editing news items, supports automatic news creation for galleries that will appear the same day a gallery appears (same start date as the gallery)
10. Database is automatically backed up at an interval you choose (default is 1 week), SQL data is e-mailed to you by the software.
That is only about half the features but those are my favorite.:thumbsup I thought it was going to cost me at least $750+ for this since the only other one I saw with most of these features was close to $4000. It is not though.
The support is also great for this company. They have a 1-800 just for this script. I have never seen a script that has a 1-800 number with it. :thumbsup For any question I have had they got back to me within a couple hours or less when I imed them.
