VISA processing as a canadian

I was wondering if anyone knew of a way to get visa processing as a canadian webmaster..
From every angle i looked, i was told i need a presence in the US.. so i got me an address in the US from a resident agent service but now further through the signup form for CCBill, i realized i need an officer residing in the US with a US social security number for verification of residency..

If anyone has any idea it would be greatly appreciated because im going crazy trying to find a way for my new paysite.

Thanks,
Jon

i'm a Verotel Pro customer, you have to be if you wish to process more than $1000US in a weeks period, i think the "ticketsclub" is really only for very low volume websites... you will have to pay the $1500US registration fee to become a "Pro" user though, but shouldn't have any problem at all doing business from Canada w/ them, and might find it a better long-term move in the case it becomes even harder for non-US residents to comply w/ the US-based processor requirements.. :2 cents:

As a Canadian, why would you want to have a business or assets in the US? You're just exposing yourself to extra liabilities. If you have to set up outside Canada, pick a nice tax free haven in the Caribbean, or Gibraltar.

Or, I understand that Webstream offers CC processing to Canadian entities.

What you have to do is find a billing company with aquiring banks in the regions that you will be doing business in. One year ago, VISA was requiring all Non US webmasters to register in the US in order to do business with VISA USA. Now, you are required to not only register in the US,but also have a live warm body in the US as well. Send me an email and I can give more details and perhaps some suggestions too.
