Anyone know a script that will build multiple galleries from a folder of pictures?
 

Anyone know of a script that will take a folder with 1,000 pics, and turn that into 100 galleries with 10 pics each, text links, banners, whatever I want in there?

I remember seeing a few scripts like this in the past.

Yea we programmed our own. If your server support ASP I can work something out with you .

It takes the name of the folder for name of gallery, update the main page with new galleries auto and build them . It auto updates when you add or remove a picture.

I have an OS/2 REXX script that does pretty close to what you want.....

Be very surprised if it is of any use to anyone else, though....

I wrote a couple for my own uses, can hahahahaha you one fairly quickly too.

I'm just thinking this would be a useful tool for TGP owners that have a lot of their own or sponsor content to build galleries with.

I asked 2-3 guys about a script like this in the past week. :(

I'm this close to busting out an ancient copy of TGSW to mass produce the galleries from templates, but that things has to be the messiest fucker going. I am way to anal about folder + directory structure to be happy to use it for this purpose.

Couldn't you do it with Arles?

Fuck no. I want a script on my server. I upload 10,000 pics and the script builds me finished galleries from my templates. Arles doesn't come close.
