anyone have laser eye surgery?

been considering getting my eyes lightsabered, sick of glasses and contacts. I saw now they have the enhanced version of lasik, supposed to give you better than 20/20. any experiences good or bad?

before you do anything drastic try vision therapy, "improve your vision without glasses or contact lenses" by Dr. Steven M. Beresford, Dr. David W. Muris, Dr. Merrill J. Allen,

You can pick it up on amazon or bn.com

it changed my life!

go for it. I did it many years ago and have zero issues.

I heard the methods have become efficient and secure enough to justify getting a surgery... I've never had one though

PersianKitty had it done not that long ago, do a search on here to find it :2 cents:

I didn't have this surgery but my dad did two years ago. I can tell you, go for it. He was so unhappy before with all those glasses and now after the laser eye surgery he doesn't need them anymore, he can see without any problems, no pain, nothing and he's very happy that he did that.
so don't worry and go for it.:thumbsup

You probably need glasses:1orglaugh

I had it done a few weeks ago. So far, so good. At 20/20 when using both eyes. My right eye alone is still a little blurry though. Hoping both eyes improve over the next few months as they heal.

sweet, did you have astigmatism too? I have astigmatism, worried they won't be able to fix it completely.

That infomercial to fix your eyes without surgery or glasses seems like horseshit to me, but I almost ordered it anyways cause I was so curious.

Mr. Marks 04-13-2004 05:22 PM

I haven't tried that one yet but I think
I'll give it a go.
