CJ BUCKS is now offering free bullet-proof hosting

CJ BUCKS is now offering FREE BULLET PROOF hosting for
webmasters sending mail traffic.

Please spare me your lectures on Spam. We are looking for responsible bulk mailers that still need BP hosting in todays world to use images in their mailings and to keep complaints at a minimum. We are trying to do this as legitimate as possible while still providing each and every money making opportunity that our webmasters have been asking for.

Here are the rules:

You must sign up under this link even if you are already a CJ BUCKS webmaster: http://cjbucks.com/join/hit.php?w=3D100723

You must check against our global remove list and not send to anyone that is on that list!

You must use our remove link and footer text in all mail sent.

As long as you can send mail and abide by the rules we should make a lot of money together.

mail [email protected] with any questions, comments or concerns

Also EMAIL [email protected] WITH YOUR AFFILIATE ID
once you have signed up so he can get you FTP access to the server and give you the other information you will need.

tony286 04-13-2004 09:12 AM

A bunch of third party spammers mailing with remove links pointing to cjbucks? Sounds like a recipe for disaster...

What is considered 'responsible' bulk emailing? opt-out?

Yes, they will be opting out of our global remove database that all mailers will have to check against.

hrmm ... There isn't that many spammers on the net :)

ronbotx 04-13-2004 04:54 PM

Another low-life spamming sponsor to cross off the list.

I will give you some credit though, at least you are up front enough to admit it, unlike some others like Platinum Bucks for example, who have a "zero tolerance" TOS on Spam and then let their hired/professional Spambags drop their turds all over the net.

KDizzla 04-13-2004 05:02 PM

So now I can get more spam each day? Thats fucked!

sexyclicks 04-13-2004 05:14 PM

Nice idea, but mad move...

A lot of legit webmasters who are against spam will get the wrong idea of your program, and what your program is about. Over the past year we've all seen how nutty these antispam guys can get, they take things to a whole different level. Majority usually rules and I wouldn't be surprised if a few legit webmasters/antispam activists leave or boycott your program due to your actions. I can see it now ..."CJBUCKS SUPPORTS SPAM!@#!@# STOP PROMOTING SCUM"

Don't get me wrong, I think this is a great idea and will help a lot of mailers out...
But like I was trying to say...there are a lot more cons than there is pros.

Also providing a universal "remove/blacklist" will probably only make things worse for those who submit to the list ... mainly because this just feeds a spammer with active and live email addresses ... and I wouldn't be surprised if those who submitted to the remove lists start getting even more spam.

Think of the long term benefits rather than the short term, mailing can get you X amount of signups in Y amount of days from Z amount of mailers ... but legit webmasters can keep the flow coming ...

--Ends here, not sure if I'm making sense [sick/tipsy]--

Everyone knows we are a hard working honest program. I will absoletely stop if this gets the slightest bit out of control.

Also, the list is seeded.

emthree 04-13-2004 06:05 PM

Just wanted to add --

For those guys who are totally against spam, and would like nothing more than seeing a spammers head get chopped off....
I just wanted to say fuck you and fuck your thought process because it's just as crazy as the next psychopath.

You claim it's "harming" the industry, which couldn't be more wrong ... Spam mail gets more hype than any of your shitty TGP Spots or any of your fucking shitty poorly designed freeloader hangout.

I do however admit that these days with all of the bad media and all of the haters growing, it is getting out of hand...but you cannot point fingers at the spammers who have been doing this before your hatred even developed.

The fingers need to be pointed at yourself and other antispam activists for hyping the subject, and hyping the idea more and more....spawning off new spammers and email marketing companies.

Just an example:
-All of these guys going around selling email lists, and spam resources ... why do you think they are doing such things?
....Well it's because there is a demand and a hype for such products than there ever was, the people who usually buy these products are not established spammers or people who know what they are doing but mostly new guys who are looking to get a piece of the action

Last Note: I do not support spam or send spam mails, so don't reply saying something that is totally meaningless like "fuck you spammer" just to get your SIG more views

Axeman 04-13-2004 06:10 PM

Rick do you offer mail servers as well?

Glad to hear, The Seeds is a pretty good idea, ...hope each is unique

But other than that ...Good Luck :glugglug

ALSO: Sorry for bringing such shit to your thread, but I know there will be guys coming in just to express their hate of mailers...so I just got it out early :thumbsup

No, that would really be getting in the line of fire. There are no laws that I'm aware of against hosting landing pages. However, if you want to mail and do it responsibly we can help but we won't do anything illegal.

If your list is legit, check out bighip.com or a related service.

Not really, if a person submits to a optout list that means they are not interested in the product in question and most of which do not want to receive any spam period. Any intelligent mailer will know its absolutely ridiculous to waste their resources and time mailing optout email addresses.

1) Isnt going to bring you any sales, why do you think they opted out in the first place.

2) Is just going to bring an insane amount of heat to you and the program.

About 8 months ago I had a mailer mail over 3 million remove addresses to one of my programs.. Talk about a huge mess.. Using a global remove system is one of the best things an affiliate program can do.

:2 cents:

Well, I cant say it's the smartest thing to do...will probably bring antis up the ass from them doing so....but a lot of guys who are recently getting into things and the other few who believe they are immune to certain ethics ... could possibly do such things...It maybe the right thing to do, but that does not mean everyone will follow...

I've seen people use remove lists to mail and promote Spam blocking/removing software and evidence eliminator type programs ...even came across a few who ended up mailing them just because they were "out" of recipients to mail that day.

Also a person submitting their email to a removes list does not always mean that the recipient is not interested in other products, they are just not interested in the specific one that they want to be removed from ... that's why you often see guys rerun their lists with different sponsors before honoring removes.

Rick Latona 04-13-2004 07:08 PM

As an additional rule we are now also going to require ADV ADLT in the subject line.

Hopefully we'll still get traffic. This will be interesting trying to find out if we can do this above board and still get people to send emails.

shermo 04-13-2004 07:10 PM

Great feature Rick!

You program is making leaps and bounds, and I appreciate the free TGP hosting as well. :thumbsup

Cheers and good luck!

In the US at least, the rather free reign the adult internet has enjoyed stems not so much from any civil liberties, but rather from the general apathy of the public towards the issue. Those who choose to enjoy porn do so, those who choose not to stay away. The bulk of the population falls into one of these two camps hence you see little in the enforcement of vague obscenity laws, COPA struck down, etc.

Take away that choice by force-feeding porn into what's become an everyday tool for the public (and the public's children, a much more precarious matter) and you might as well be waving a conservative flag begging the government for regulation.

There will be a backlash and it won't be due to some crazy right-wing Republicans holding office, rather because those who enjoy porn refuse to respect the rights and privacy of those who do not.

I'll step off my pulpit now.
