i was asked to make this thread so here i go - Sleazydream's thoughts, insights, and advise for everyone - including the idiots - to read.


my thoughts are this - if someone's giving you advise - they probally have an adjenda. Only an idiot would freely offer gold business advise to the public unless it benefits them in some way - so LOOK at the fucking source. if they offered all their business secrets up to the public everyone would do it, think about it. the free advise is worth what you paid for it.


go your own fucking way. doesn't matter what everyone else is doing, who the fuck cares. If someone else makes $10,000,000 doing something and you only make $1,000,000 be fucking happy with yourself and don't drop everything to chace someone else's dream. better to have someone chace your dream than you chacing someone else's dream.

money is important but happyness is MORE important. Always be true to yourself, fuck everyone else. Listen to your heart, but react with your brain. do NOT use one or the other exclusivly or your life will be a wreck. Use your heart and brain TOGETHER - make emotional decisions but take the time to properly analize them as well.

find someone you love. I don't mean find someone TO LOVE - big difference. BIG DIFFERENCE. HUGE

know that if people are talking about you it's usually a good thing.

trust everyone, respect everyone - till that individual PERSON gives you reason to do otherwise. Most people don't belive this but EVERYONE starts with my respect and trust, till they say something stupid.

be grateful. no matter how bad it is things could be a lot worse. Do NOT feel sorry for yourself. it's always the wrong emotion to embrase.

accept who you are - don't live a double life.

and always be willing to accept new challenges and go forward with your life - no matter how hard that may be or seem sometimes.

Don't agree with everything you've said Sleazy, but I do most of it. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and observations with us, from what I've read there seem to be a lot of people on this and other boards that care about you a great deal, and I can see why. <br><br>

If you don't trust everyone at first you'll miss opportunities. Just be quick to retract that trust and you'll be fine.

It's like trading. No good trader is right more than 30% of the time. It's just the other 70% they limit their losses and let the 30% make them so rich they don't care about some losses.

Same with people. Never trust anyone and you'll never even let the good opportunities hit you.

trust and respect everyone till they give you reason otherwise isn't JUST about financial gain - although it's a good side benefit.

it's just a better way to live your life.

i would rather live in a world where i BELIEVED in the good in people than one where i didn't.

I trust everyone, I just don't trust the devil inside of them...

Not true. Most people would smile and nod and move on. It takes a mind of a common drive and bent to follow up on good business advice.

Excellent advice. That's why it helps to have someone close to you to bounce ideas off of.

Not gonna comment here. Suffice it to say that's the best advice that people won't understand.

Disagree. People love to talk trash. If they are talking about you, assume it's negative until proven otherwise. And if it's negative, you might want to stop drinking so much at business functions. :)

And I happen to agree with the rest. Good post!

Thanks for the worthwhile post Sleazy. Those are all very good points even though most are common sense. We all need reminders to remember what we really have. I especially needed a pick me up today after seeing what I owe the IRS.

I actually like it when people are talking about me behind my back. I'm happy to see that they waste their time being concerned with me and then again if you ever meet me I'll tell you that if you're going to talk about me do it behind my back. Because if you do that shit to my face I just might punch you.

Yeah, I dunno.. I tend to trust alot of people up front as well.. But I also tend to be able to pick up on some very bad vibes with certain people.. But I think thats mostly from dealing with really shady people in the past which has enabled me to spot red flags...

as for the business advise - if you knew something secret and awesome in your business that made you money would you tell everyone how to do it so that more people would start doing it ruining your exclusivenes and possibly your business hold in the marketplace?




and for people talking negatiovily about you - i got some advise from kimmykim on it and i personally agree with it, you may disagree. You want people when they mention you to either HATE you or LOVE you - the worst thing someone can say about you is "ehh"


you would not believe the AMOUNT of people who come up to me thinking i'm a total smuck from GFY and change their mind when they meet me.
They make their own decisions in their head base don their own experiences - but I got talked about negativly behind my back and that's why they were interested in meeting me. I've done a lot of business outa that too.

I agree about the reputation, too. I see what you're saying now. And as the child psychologists say, a soggy potato chip is better than no potato chip at all. :) So.. I just need to work harder at making people hate me, I guess. :1orglaugh

I believe most people are basically evil, and force themselves to be good because either they couldnt get away with being evil, I'm being very serious when I say this.
