Why not send the clubbers to Iraq to club those damn ragheads instead?

Because there is a huge market for seal fur in other countries. It's all about the money.

I've never understood why people club them though... wouldn't there be easier and more humane ways to kill them? You'd think we'd be farming them by now.

I'm with you on that not a good decision.. They should instead put up the death sentence legal and kill like in Texas.

They have other uses, like making clothes for thoses inuit people. It's as good a reason as killing them for food.

It's in Newfoundland. They base their living on fishing.The seals are eating all the fish and aren't endangered so killing a few k wont harm the population.I'm an animal lover and hate seeing anything slaugtered so cruely,but they have to live there and deal with it.

Give the cows and chickens a break. Kill that seal and eat it for a change.

We just had a outbreak of that Asian flu and had to slaughter more than a half million chickens and burn them to try to contain it .So chicken isn't really whats for dinner.

Clubbing baby seals is part of our canadian heritage.

When we reach adulthood (12 years old), our father and his father take us out of the igloo to go baby seal clubbin'. We ride a moose until we reach the shore then club ourselves some nice baby seals. Then when we're done clubbin we take the skins and send them to China to make cheap ass boots for french tourists.

We then party by huffing monoxide from exhaust pipes and propane.

If Canda sent there entire military force to Iraq this is what would happen:

RPG attack at the airport destroys APC. All 6 of the entire Canadian army + there single tank would be wiped out.
