Pretty cool...

blows notepad away & has a lot of the coolest features of the best commerical editors (like UltraEdit) and seems to be pretty fast for managing large files.

The only think I don't like about Edit Pad Pro vs PnotePad is the "Buy Now" button :winkwink:

I think they might have been broken back when I came across Pnotepad too because I was looking at a bunch of freeware and open source programming editors.

A lot of people use Ultra Edit - is this open source one better?

It's cheaper. :)

And a lot of Ultraedit's features (over pnotepad) may only benefit hardcore programmers.

I mostly use a tabbed notepad for "scratch paper"... like right now I have 17 tabbed editor hahahahahahas open. :helpme
