Why is it so easy to work at night?
 

I can't believe how much easier it is to work at night when it is dark outside. For some reason, I can't hardly stay focused enough during the day to get anything done.

How many of you do most of your work in the evening hours and not so much during the daylight?

I feel like I'm missing something during the day or just don't feel like working. If it is super nice outside, who the hell can work? ;)

No distractions, quiet, nothing on TV..

It's too nice outside during the day to not do something fun.

I get nothing done during the day, nite time im in turbo mode.

noone to bother me, 10x more productive at night...

nighttime is my prime time. no bullshit going out outside. no annoying sunlight coming in your hahahahahaha. perfect time for us computer vampires.

i find the same. the sunshine and beautiful weather make it to hard to want to work :)

I'm always more productive at night due to my urge to go out and soak in the sun! This isn't applicable to weekends though. I like the weekend nightlife!

I have to agree - I do my best work after 10pm. Nothing's on TV, everyone's asleep - perfect working environment.

No distractions, no calls from telemarketers, or friends calling, most everyone is asleep in your time zone. TV becomes dull, no neighbor kids screaming. Just you, the hum of your computer and the police cruiser making the rounds... :)

I can't get shit done during the day. Working at night is the best, because there really isn't much else to do. :2 cents:

So many sitcoms on at night, too. I love leaving that in the background while I work.

I have certain peak times, but it is mostly due to routine which I can change as I see fit. I can work during daylight, just have to build it into my routine.

I used to like working nights but there's lots of stuff that needs to be done during the day, like certain stores only open during the day, kids go to school, etc. I find the day to be equally productive nowadays, if not more, depends on your job though, I frequently deal with customers and more often than not they are only available during the day.

An unexplainable calmness and serenity hits me late at night with the headphones on. I _wish_ I could get the same feeling during the day.
