Someone's Been stealing my mail!!
This is getting really old.
Packages are broken into, and Bank Statements opened. If someone is trying to check up on me, you'd think they'd do it more discreetly.:feels-hot |
damn that is pretty fucked up! that is a federal offense if i remember right, but the person needs to get caught :ak47:
|
they are opening bank statements and then after checking them out placing them back in you're mailbox?
if so, that is ballsy for sure, not to mention illegal as hell. |
It is a federal offense. I just called the Postal Police.
BTW, I was just thinking about you. . . ;) |
I'm sorry YourSexySecrets, I didn't think you would mind if I check out your mail!

It's the F.B.I.
|
You must be right. the Federal Boobie Investigators would be a likely suspect, as the Federal Bureau of Investigations would be way more discreet.
|
I usually steam my stalkie's mail. It's way more discrete.
|
Very likely somebo-dy is trying to steal your identity.
Mailbox theft is becoming a pretty big problem now by people looking to steal a persons identity so they can bilk their cc's. I would contact your bank and watch your statements carefully. |
|
that's a bitch. you can't trust anyhahahaha these days
|
The mail box isn't locked here and I'm scared something like that will happen.
|
Don't worry, that's just US Customs searching for WMD ;)
|
I would get a credit check with the reporting agencies like Equifax, Trans Union, Experian, that is the beginning of identity theft... I have experienced a great deal of it since 2000, and have just finally gotten back my good credit..
Get a lock on your mailbox, or have the key changed out if you already have one... a previous resident could be looking in your box.. Also, speak with the postmaster at your local branch... its something that needs to be addressed immediately... |
candyflip?

I just signed up for a credit check thing with my bank.
Someone stole my identity in Texas, after I left, they got old mail from my PO Box. So sad. . . Oh, Well, I guess I'll just pay for it later when my interest goes up.:( |

SUCKS!

put a cam on the mail box and catch them on film.
|
Thats terrible talk about a personal invasion of privacy. I hope you catch the person.
|
Rent a box at the post office and if you move make sure to fill out the change of address card and you don't have to worry about it.
Our mailman just chucks the junkmail so he doesn't have to climb up on our porch since its a rare piece of mail that shows up out front. But DO tell the local Head Postal guy, they'll keep an eye on your mailbox now and then and try to catch them. Try to remember what time of day etc you think it happens and anything else that might help them. |
well, the last time I got a PO Box, someone stole my identity.
Anyways, i refuse to live in fear. I called the postal police, and hopefully will resolve this soon. Thanks for all the support, guys, I will let you know how it turns out. But who are the reposting agencies that I should call to put my credit on high alert? I have A+ credit, and want to keep it that way. |

Trans Union Equifax Experian Contact each one and notify them that you want a promo block and a fraud alert placed on your name... They say this is for a year, but thats bullshit.. do it every 90 days.... Also, its really good to get a credit check at each of the reporting agencies every year, to at least know where you stand and to see if anything new has popped up that you didnt authorize.. |
Thank you soooo much :)
