Girls Gone Wild just lost a shoot location

Gantlet groping banned

Under 21 no hotel room rentals without adult
midnight curfew for 19 y/o
fines for loitering or smoking under 19 y/o

Can you say "Ich bin ein Berliner!"?

freeadultcontent 04-11-2004 12:43 AM

I see a major court case brewing.

18 year olds are adults so they could be looking at age discrimination.

18 year olds can also stay out past midnight. etc. Shit shall hitith the fan.

Yep some trouble is bound to come outta this.

HS-Trixxxia 04-11-2004 12:47 AM

So 18 is the 'adult' legal age and they want to put curfews on them? That's really fucked!

riosluts 04-11-2004 12:48 AM

didnt the owner and creator of Girls Gone Wild get arrested for underage child shooting

freeadultcontent 04-11-2004 12:48 AM

I really expect to see the words ACLU and Utah together very soon.

some of them will surely realise that and bring up a shitstorm

It's really pretty scary. Small steps to get to from a democracy to
a dictatorship and these are the first steps. Even at that you'd
figure this kind of radical thinking would have come from the
southern belt instead of Ohio. I mean Ohio? Wtf.

Yup freeadultcontent, ACLU will probably jump on that a.s.a.p.

AvanteGuard 04-11-2004 12:51 AM

Being an ex-communicated mormon, I'm surprised they didn't just ban smoking, drinking and out-of-wedlock sexual conduct. If I remember correctly, anything involving anything below the neck and above the knees is a sin, and you're going to hell if you don't repent of it. God I hate religion. :feels-hot

Fukeneh 04-11-2004 12:52 AM

#1 i dont think the ACLU gives a shit.

many places and hotels require 21 to rent hotel rooms.

car rentals require you to be 21,23, or 25 in some states.

Exactly. And of course, the community values nutcases will all be on board since it involves porn. There is a group of do-gooder, conservative Republicans around here that have been trying to run all of the porn stores out of town. They call themselves "Citizens for Community Values".

So far, they have closed up two of the five stores by pushing through bullshit "decency" ordinances, then coming back and issuing crazy fines to the bookstores, who in turn have to spend tens of thousands of dollars on lawyers to run the cases up to the Indiana Supreme Court and get ordinance taken down. Then they put another ordinance in and the whole scam begins again.

You have to love these goddamn parasites. Constitutional freedoms only when it suits them!

Big wh00p!

The big losers here is going to be the places these kids frequented, St. George's will be a tired old town in a few months and the hotels that rented rooms and the bars that served will shutter their doors and move elsewhere.

St. Georges also won't have the tax base they were once used to, I won't be a bit suprised if the Sgt. quoted in that article will be working for another department or as a private security guard.

The same kind of thing happened here, one of the local suburbs banned smoking in resturants, forcing them to either create a seperate partition for smokers and non-smokers, and add air filters.

One of the resturants, a long time 24hr diner went smoke free, well guess what, sales went into the toilet, they had to let go a number of wait staff that had been there 20+ years and the joint is only open less than 12 hours a day.

Now if you want a bite to eat in that neck of the woods, its Mickey D's drive-up or a real shithole the cops barely like eating in.

You wait, market forces will probably lead another Utah area town to take all the crowds St. Georges once had.

foolio 04-11-2004 01:40 AM

That is what happens when you live in hicksville!

Wilber 04-11-2004 01:41 AM

They have waged war and to beat them you have to either fight back
or get them so distracted they can't organize to get things done in
their fight.

I prefer the distraction method. We need to go to churches on Sunday
while they are all in there singing n' shit and then bust into the preacher's
car. Put dildos and smut books in his car and leave something sticking out
in plain view so when the congregation is getting into their cars someone
will notice the smut in the ministers car. Put some Photoshoped minister
and the neighborhood dog pics in there to.

Once ten or so ministers are busted by their piers for being porn-padres
they religious community will realize they have some serious problems
in their own back yard.

That will keep them busy organizing a defrock instead of them having
time to fuck up the local smut peddlers.

I'm still surprised people actually consider Mormomism a religion.

On the subject, I have no problem raising the official age of adulthood to 21 as long as it is 21 for everything. ex: military, nude modeling, driving, drinking, smoking etc. These age double standards hurt more than help.

The one value that matters to a Christian is the one they try to deny: The freedom of choice.

I doubt that. They'll just bury it like the Catholic Church did. Although it would help to keep them off porn because they'll be spending money buying people's silence and there will then be less to spend on the porn wars.

People of that ilk cant admit when they are wrong. Thier shit dosent stink.

Then maybe a well timed anonymous call to the press to let them
in on the canine-violating minister's hump-mobile. The press have no morals and
would love a juicy tidbit like that.

They owe me money from December...

Shoehorn! 04-11-2004 03:55 AM

Stupid move by teh city, drunks spend money, the less drunks that are there spending money the less local businesses make. :2 cents:

Paul Waters 04-11-2004 03:59 AM

How can this be a civil liberties issue in a country with a drinking age of 21?

:rasta
