Just had my 1st drink in 40 days
 

Gave up drinking all alchol for lent.

Just had my 1st drink, realized i didn't miss it at all and now heading to bed.

I was amazed on how many people felt uncomfortable by me not drinking. They would get all freaked out if you went to a bar and i would only have a soda or water.

Didn't realize how much i drank until i gave it up.

One of the best things i ever did.

I lost 10lbs, feel better than ever, and got more work done than ever before.

I was only a weekend drinker and an occasional beer when stopping at a friends house, but cutting it out 100% made a big difference.


Did any hahahaha else give up alchol for lent?

For the last few years, Thursday Friday & Saturday have been filled with booze

In the summer I can bake in the sun on a week day and get ham'd with a nice cold bud

pretty funny pad you where banned 5 times for being under age..

It was a great experience.
I'm gonna cut back on my drinking all together and see how much more weight i loose and how much more work i get done.


It's great to get a bunch of work done on a Sat AM, when you haven't been out until the bar closed drunk with all your friends.

THe few times i went to the bar and didn't drink it felt great not having to worry about getting pulled over and explaing to a cop you only had a drink or 2.

Wow admitting to drinking and driving even, real classy. It's a good thing you gave it up, you'll be happy if you did and keep it up but that drinking and driving is disgusting.

I was banned once for being underage

when I came back after my birthday I got banned because people figured I was still 17 for some reason

This is why I drink socially, like at webmaster events. But I only ever have, at most, 3 drinks through-out an entire night.

I wouldn't drink any alcohol at all if I could, but I know that people feel very uncomfortable around me if they're falling over drunk and I'm sitting there drinking a pepsi.

Use to be a bartender, really slowed down my drinking. Last time I got drunk was the first time in probably 4 years at the XBiz awards in Vegas, too fun!!

I wasn't drinking for 3 months. Didn't missed it. I was this week twice drunk as hell...it's funny.

I woke up 8:55am...just to get some water because I am hung over and my mouth is dry.

Hey, I never said i was driving drunk. But once in a while you can go out and have a glass or wine or two and leave a resturant and be worried that a cop would smell it on you breath and think you where drunk when you are no where near drunk.

I've had cops think i was drunk and driving cause they smelt the alchol on all the drunks i was driving home.

All i said was that it was nice to pull out of the local bars parking lot and pass a bunch of cops and not have to worry about explaing anything to a cop.
