You also have to consider the "fix factor."

We have used hookers in the past - but we were able to do that because we were in the industry and they knew us personally.

We gave them some guarantees about where the images would be used and they were happy with that.

Most hookers prefer to remain discreet about what they do and so it would be unlikely that they would be prepared to do a photoshoot with someone they didn't know.

As for the 'fix' factor - well others undoubtedly have their experiences and there are plenty of girls out there with problems but we have always been careful to work with girls we know whose only addiction has been to a comfortable lifestyle.

To the poster: your best bet is not to worry about strippers or escorts etc. Place ads. If there's a college in your city then go that route.. college kids are gold mines. Look into model agencies. If they come to you then you don't have to worry about being turned down or slapped.

It's a municipal thing. Every city has their own requirements. But I have yet to hear of a city that doesn't require one. And I'm not in the largest city either (Windsor, ON Canada).. I hear in Toronto the prices are insane...
