this might sound harse, but we really only do get ONCE CHANCE at our lives, that's it.

get it RIGHT the first time around cause there are no rewind buttons and the worst thing that could happen to any person is looking back and thinking "I should have but no i can't"

I's all about Karma. As nothing to do with being healthy and alive... I know many healthy people that lie and don't respect people that do good to them...

In our hearts we're all born with knowing what's right and what's wrong. Do the right thing as often as you can.

Clearly though in our taking the wrong path when making the decisions in our lives seems to be when we do the most learning and growing. The things that take us into challenges, risky situations, bad relationships, etc. are the ones that imprint scars on our souls and in our hearts. But ironically the scars are what give us our strength.

you're a genuinely good person with no malace in your heart and I know that, even when I'm flaky and don't call enough, that I can always count on you.

My theory in life is that if you give everyone the benefit of the doubt at first, you may get burned a lot more often than if you didn't. However you will never miss out on someone that fails to make a good first impression who turns out to be a wonderful person.
