PayPal sucks donkey ass!
 

Because I own an adult website, PayPal closed my account for 'violating their practices'. I have fought them on this tooth and nail because ALL I use PayPal for is eBay, HighBarr and to pay my hosting bill. I do NOT use it to let people access my website.

They keep sending me form letters in response to my questions (which tell me to log in to my account to read stuff...hey SHITHEADS you CLOSED my account and I CANNOT log in to it), I have stayed on hold for as long as 30 LITERAL minutes, I have left voice mail with my digits with NO call backs....

Fucking ASSWIPES!

They are discriminating against people in this industry. This has nothing to do with processing for the adult industry. I have no problem with them not processing, but to tell us we can't use their system because we own adult domain names is nothing but discrimination.

We should have gotten the PayPal reps on video fucking hookers at all the shows where they sent their people to learn the business so they could process for porn. THAT would have been classic. What was it, for all the shows over the course of a year or two those guys were hanging around?

You can get them to release the money by getting a lawyer to send them a letter (if it's worth it for the amount involved).. I've also heard (unofficially) that they'll release it after 6 months regardless? I think their general problem with adult stuff is chargebacks so holding it that long protects them from that happening...

My advice to anyone still holding a Pay Pal account is to close it because sooner or later they will start this shit with you. Its only a matter of time!!:BangBang:

I can sort of see their point, but when they came down with their rules, I actually CALLED them to ask if HighBarr and paying my bandwidth bill would be ok...they told me "Sure, both of those are subscription payments with an established history"

It was one of the alternate addresses on there. I asked them about that, too, when I asked about my subscription payments. I LOVE it when you call customer support about something specific, get the go-ahead then get burned for believing their customer support agents! I think it's FUN!

Why is it no one has ever come up with a program similar to Pay Pal. Think about it, if one of the bigger adult companies built a system just like Pay Pal they would make millions.

I know, there's usually the "I've used paypal for years with no problems" type of people. But those people one day or another, will start a "PAYPAL SUCK" thread. It's inevitable.

thats why u should switch to ePassporte. alot of sponsors are using that aside from paypal. And the fees are pretty much the same too paypal. Paypal charges like 5% of receiving money, and like another $1 to deposit to your acc. Pretty close to ePassporte fees
