Can anyone give any recommendations for a cheap hotel in London, in a good location to do tourist stuff?

Thanks in advance! :glugglug

just click on UK hotels, than click on London and the cheapest price and then just compare the prices.
Good luck:thumbsup

I wish to help you more but it's pretty long time ago when I was in London, so don't remember the names. Sorry:(

http://www.activehotels.com/ has a good selection and you can order the search results by price.

On the other hand.........It's not like we are gonna be sleeping much. All we need is a place to drop our bags and shower.

I agree, when you are out all day and you basically only sleep and shower at your room why bother to have a damn big suite with everything :glugglug

I stayed at the Millenium Baily's on Glouchster (sp?)

Wonderful hotel, Excellent location. Right across the street is the tube stop, just 2 stops before Victoria Station.
From this hotel your only 2-5 stops from all the places to see.

Also across the street is a pub, 2 fish and chips shops, Starbucks, KFC, Burger King, a 24hr grocer and 2 really nice resturants.

Look for hotels in Richmond area, its a nice area and not too far from London Prices should still be quite cheap there ?
Oh and the Taste of RaJ has the best curry in the world and they are on the Upper Richmond Road.

Hotel Reservation Service

they usually have better prices than you'd get when you book straight at the hotel.
