Well, consider that you could not alter or influence history in any way (, shape or form :winkwink: ) just watch with your own eyes great events or persons in the past ...

maybe the reveolutionary war period. i know the conditions really sucked and such but it would be interesting to see how the country started and what they went through to establish our country.

If the story of Jesus is as in the Bible, I'd love to see him speak, perform miracles, etc., just wouldn't want to see that his actual story wasn't in fact as described by St. Paul ...

Also, Napoleon, ancient Rome, would be great to see, hard to say which one is more beautiful to relive it with your own eyes ...

The problem with that is that it wasn't one monumental event. Rome fell in stages. Sure, there's a date that marked the barbarians taking power but Rome was collapsing way before it.
