so tired of seeing the daily flood of pointless threads that are all punctuated w/ "pic" or "PIC"... no business here on the board any longer, eh..?

But if they BAN these words, the threads would be harder to avoid, because they would still be posted. The way it is now they are all marked so that you can easily spot and avoid them.

yeah, another one that needs to go. maybe i'll script some sort filtering system for all the bullshit posts, i don't bother scanning the first page near as often any longer..

I think there are many other reasons business threads have slowed down here lately. Mainly the board instability and bot bullshit.

I personally have posted some pic threads lately but it is because I take little humor breaks during the day and want to share them with everyone else. If I can help someone else smile or laugh a little during the day I know my day goes a little better.

I wish people would be banned for posting utter bullshit all day every day.
Makes this a worthless resource.

Until the search is back up this board is basically only good for chit-chat and latest news.

it isn't the casual pic-poster that is ruining the GFY experience for actual webmasters, its the constant onslaught of empty posts and sig-whoring that have really dragged the board down within the last month. as i said, i used to come here many times a day to keep abreast of whats going on in the industry but there isn't much point sifting through all the crap lately... sad..

Ah, yeah, I see what you mean and I agree. I've only been around for a few months and am just now getting acclimated to posting regularly, so that's my excuse.

the sad thing is that most of the damage done here in the last few months is due to the whole "sig whore" phenomenom, it will be ironic when 'sigs' become worthless because noone of any consequence bothers coming here any longer..
