How long until you leave the Adult Biz?

I'm thinking I may stick it out another 2 years at the most. I can't really see myself in this bullshit much longer than that money or no money.

webgurl 04-08-2004 04:38 PM

Till death do us apart

69pornlinks 04-08-2004 04:38 PM

NelsonN 04-08-2004 04:39 PM

I don't care about the money it's just that it's not what I want to do with the rest of my life. So I won't stay for too long.

TurboAngel 04-08-2004 04:48 PM

So what are you going to move on to?

:)

stephanie m. 04-08-2004 04:49 PM

Until I get my masters and then some.

quiet 04-08-2004 04:52 PM

i can't see staying on more than May 2006. i've already done what i set out to do, now it's just discipline to make that last final chunk of adult-based cash to pad my bank account.

davethetruth 04-08-2004 04:52 PM

I've got about 4 years left in adult. Then I'll be able to go back to school or start my own business.

punker barbie 04-08-2004 04:55 PM

like never, im second generation porn :)

MistressLuna 04-08-2004 05:15 PM

Why stop? Even if you have other business to attend to this is fun and profitable. Never is my answer.

Za Ha 04-08-2004 05:17 PM

Another 2 rental properties and I should have enough flowing to quit.

Rictor 04-08-2004 05:17 PM

Until VISA regulations, government regulation, or some other bullshit forces me out.

I'm not going to find religion and I'm not going to sell sites that bring me a steady income unless something major changes in the industry.

Believe it or not, not everyone in this biz thinks it's all great fun, nor do they like all of you.

Thomas1007 04-08-2004 05:18 PM

Never
There is No better job than purveying porn to the Masses

So when the government shuts you down?
:1orglaugh

I guess I'd prolly always have a hand in the adult industry, but even porn has a ceiling.

sean416 04-08-2004 05:20 PM

once I get my masters... I dont think I'll ever be completely out of the business, but once its not my main source of income.. I'll consider myself out of it. :)

Vanilla DeVille 04-08-2004 05:28 PM

Stewie and I both worked in the corporate world for too damn long... I refuse to let go of this life!! :1orglaugh

nathan_f 04-08-2004 05:39 PM

as soon as my wife becomes an optometrist, and i can persue other things. :)

slackologist 04-08-2004 05:49 PM

until there are no profits, it's not worth my time, it's legislated away or i don't enjoy it anymore or any combination of the above.

Royal Cash 04-08-2004 06:07 PM

i will never, i like it :)

SleazyDream 04-08-2004 06:10 PM

saying you want out means you probally shouldn't have been in porn in the first place and have a moral problem with it.

is everything about adult good - NO
is everything about adult bad - NO

I love the business now and the people in it. when that changes I'll move on but I have no intension at this time of doing anything else as I'm comfortable with who I am profesionally.

Doctor Dre 04-08-2004 06:10 PM

2-3 years probably ... maybe more if it's still profitable. But I think it will become too hard to make money with new gov regulations + cc regulations . Only big corporations will own everything

Thanks for the dumb assumption. I have no moral problem but it's simply not what I would like to do the rest of my life.

Socially it has a down side and so far I have kept that to a minimum but I can see where I will not want the title of pornographer at some point.

Loch 04-08-2004 06:49 PM

Highly depends on when i die i guess :2 cents:

brickbat 04-08-2004 06:54 PM

Not until there's major detrimental law changes or the frivilous politically-motivated witchunts encompass everything 'adult'.

Mr.Fiction 04-08-2004 07:07 PM

Until these guys show up at your door?
