I hate it when people don't even examine a post before they try to diss it!

The other thread:
http://www.gofuckyourself.com/showth...hreadid=266452

shows a yahoo article, while this thread has an article in Xbiz with an interview with Jim Holio, the one who started the thread.

Sorry, just had to clear that up.

Stern has charged on the air that he?s being punished for his criticism of President Bush. Clear Channel?s political action committee and its employees have given $265,800 to Republicans for the 2004 election, more than any other broadcaster, according to the Center for Responsive Politics, a nonpartisan research group.

So why is the FCC fining pro-Bush Clear Channel and not anti-Bush Viacom?

Viacom and Clear Channel are both pro-Bush.

Bush and the FCC are threatening to fine all stations that carry Stern, not just Clear Channel. Viacom has said they will fight to keep Stern on the air for now.

Clear Channel and Hogan (CC Chairman) get to play the Martyr all the while being able to claim it as a loss at the end of the year. And the witch hunt needed a willing victim to exppedite the process.

now clear channel gets to play the victim while they support the agenda all along without putting upa fight.

take the fall pal we will take care of you on the otherside.....

It's pretty ridiculous alright! It's ok though because they'll learn from the election that they can't get away with it.
