Way to go dipshits. Why don't you just scare users away from ever paying for porn again. I just signed up for a new sponser to see how it'd do, i check some of the sites before I get to building any galleries, one of them had 4 popups, the other loaded at least 20, i managed to get them all closed using alt+f4... but one just re-opened every time i closed it. Not even ctrl+alt+delete would work, it'd just pop back up again if it was closed.

Anyway, after finally managing to get the fucker closed, I decided no fucking way am I promoting a single site that had popups again. What good is a pornsite if you user has to restart his comp after it freezes from a wave of popups? Honestly.

I use mozilla all the time, so I never get popups, but what about the surfers that just use IE?

The only popup i have for knockboots.com is on the join page and it only pops once if the surfer leaves and it is a special discount if they signup for 2 months + the webmaster gets credit fdor it as well Not all popups and shit are bad, but I do agree I wont use a sponsor that uses popups as soon as they enter their site etc..

I've already said I know they make money. I realise that if you have a site and what more cash, you use popups. One popup? thats cool. user closes it and goes back to looking at your site. 2 popups? sure, they close em, go back to the site. 10 popups? that launch 10 more each when you close them? rediculous.

Did a spyware check a few hours ago. Nothing found. It wasnt a members area, it was a main page for the site.

Oh, and - the only people dumb enough not to have a popup blocker these days, are probably the same ones that are still clicking popups, so at least it all evens out :1orglaugh

Aren't pop-up blockers installed on computers by default these days? Everytime I surf Google for mainstream stuff, I get more pop-ups than when I surf porn sites. And I get a lot of self-installing spyware attempts too. Lots of shady stuff being used.

Wost thing would be adding popups in member aeras . Once I was promoting a site that was doing that and I got a email complaint from a sufer that signed up ... I fucking dropped them so fast

I dont want to say, I don't want to turn anyone off from them, as some of their sites are fairly good, all they need to do is reduce their popup count.

So promote sites that don't have popups. Like the one in my sig and there are plenty of big sponsors who give you the option wether to use consoles or not.

we have over 350K uniques going out of our exits everyday and even on a bad day convert the traffic 1:2000 back to our own sites that the webmaster gets paid on so it is beneficial for the webmaster ... so you are a little out of the realm of what you speak ... now go away i am done with you

175 sales a day on exit traffic is the best I've ever heard of.

It's not worth it for our traffic, prolly because it's mostly people who are there for a reason, not just surfing around.

dude what i am saying is that when you are doing an amateur site you do not pop the hell out of the surfer ... fine .. but when you are dealing with promoting a site that is paying you 35-40 dollars for a join that is 6.95 they need to send out exit traffic to make the difference ... i mean what do you think that the money they just front all of it and then hope that a month later they make the money back on the recurring .... man it is people that are the advocate of the surfer that turn to webmaster that do not understand what it takes to make your money back from one surfer.... i even know of companies that give their members popups to make that money back ...

dave sorry to hear that .... and i would not be an asshole if some asswipe did not come on here and call us all fuckers .... as for the amount of joins i know that there is alot more than that ... at one point we were converting exit traffic at 1:300 ..... and those joins were credited to the webmaster ... so it is beneficial .. there are sites out there that use excessive popups but that is not all of us .. you can only beat the surfer up so much i agree....
