How do I edit /usr/local/thisfolder/
 

I have never had to edit a folder that deep in my dierctory before, my ftp program and my cpanel file manager do not go that deep.

Any help would be great.:helpme

Log in VIA SSH then use pico or vi to edit it.

anyother way to edit files there? I would think there has to be a FTP style way to edit files...no?

On cpanel servers, ftp usually jails you in your home directory .. you could use a program like WinSCP to connect, its an ssh program basically with an explorer type interface.

Cute ftp has ssh and ssh2 settings in connection type. Keeps everything really simple.
