Yes I have bought property tax liens.
They auction them off at most county court houses. You pay the county the tax, then you collect. If they do not pay you can start the forclosure process. (never happens) You end up with a nice lil percentage profit. |
Class may be free but they will try to sell you shit.

Property Tax Liens, ever bought any?
I'm thinking of getting into buy property tax liens, going to a seminar on this next month in Vancouver. Anyone ever done this before? Any pros or cons? Any advice?

Real good finds are at counties that don't have a lot of bidders at. Some markets are saturated.

The seminar is a 3 day thing, and it was free so I couldn't pass it up. You ever done this before?

Sounds interesting. A friend of mine is going to Vegas next week to possible buy some from an auction. The guy who's speaking at the seminar is Ted Thomas, he's supposed to be real guru when it comes to this sort of thing.

Yeh, I've visited his website, looks like he charges about 200 to 500 for his book and videos etc.
