It depends on which TGP model you're trying to do.

Actually, I was surfing Shemp's movie galleries the other day, the category archive pages, and over half of them were redirecting me to ads. But I imagine that's a problem with movie galleries since they are expensive to host they probably get redirected after a few weeks.

How many link trades are too many?
 

I was just checking out someone's tgp that they wanted to show me (who knows why) and I tried to check out one of the galleries.

It took me FOUR tries to get to the gallery. I kept getting shuttled off to some other site.

Maybe I've lost the point somewhere along the way, but how do you keep a surfer at your tgp that way?

My honest opinion? 1 is too many, but don't expect to hear that advice from anyone else.

actually, that's the same advice I got from Shemp. You never go to anything other than a gallery when you click on a gallery link on his site.

Makes it hard to feed trades.

I can't see a new site ever building that way unless he is just relies on SE or hardlinks.
