Do your political views play a deciding factor in who you do Biz with?
 

got to thinking about this reading some these Bush/war threads.

Would reading someones political/religious oppinion influence your decision to do business with them either now or in the future?

everyone is entitled to an opinion

nah, i wouldnt go that to that extreme. i will however, base who I do business with on their so-called 'board persona'.

people seem to think just because it's text, and the internet, for some reason it doesnt carry as much weight as they would normally act. i find this quite sad, and it's their loss because i cant be the only person to think this way..

definitely not. If I only dealt/interacted with people that had the same views as myself, I wouldn't have nearly as much opportunity to grow as a person......

Political (or religious) views don't affect with whom I do business. Their ethics would. So would their board persona: even if it doesn't reflect their real personality, it does reflect the audience to which they are playing.

If I disagree on politics with someone I want to do business with, the trick is just not to talk politics with them. It's not very hard.
