We all(the CNN brainwashed punks don't count) know by now that the reason BUSH went to IRAQ was because of OIL! We'll now we see that there is some fighting goin on in IRAQ, US soldiers are dying and consequently the prices of OIL are sky-rocketing.

INteresting The majority of Oil the US consumes comes from Canada. Iraq contributes less than 4% of the worlds supply.

You did before the war but not now. There may be other reasons but I'm no economist. Before the war I heard an economist on TV saying that oil prices will rise if the war was to occur, but I didn't listen carefully when he was explaining the reasons.

1st, oil prices are not related to the fighting in Iraq, if anything, it would be related to the 4% cut the OPEC announced this past week.

As for why we invaded Iraq, its quite simple, you think Iraq owns the oil that's on their land, or pumps it? This is a nation that has no military, no technology, and can't do anything that doesnt involve completely rudimentary b.s. Although their land has oil, they can't pump it, hence you have OPEC, and American companies pumping that oil, hence the war in Iraq isnt to get the oil, which we already have, but just to keep it safe.
