Is it possible to use 2 .htpasswd files in 1 .htaccess file?

Alright i've been having a little trouble here, could someone please point me in the right direction.

AuthUserFile /usr/home/folder1/.htpasswd
AuthUserFile /usr/home/folder2/.htpasswd
AuthGroupFile /dev/null
AuthName RESTRICTED
AuthType Basic

*Limit GET POST*
require valid-user
*/Limit*

This doesn't seem to work, how would I go about making it work?
Thanks for any help ^_^

I don't think that will work, but remember that the password file doesn't *have* to be named .htpasswd. Try renaming one of them.

Well that doesn't really help, what I'm trying to do is allow users from 2 seperate sites access to 1 central site.. not having any luck -_-

Set a cron job to combine both htpasswd files together into a 3rd file, every minute or so ..

Only problem you'll have is possible duplicate users.

There are lots of ways you can do this depending on whether your sites are on the same server or not.

Check this script out, might help.
