Baby einstein videos were a big hit with my son.
Lots of colors, toys, and music. He still watches them from time to time, but I think he may just have the hots for Julie Clark. heh http://www.babyeinstein.com/ |
a HUGE teddybear
anything like 10x the size of the kid is she to amuse them or scare the living shit out of them :( |
Surf toyrus.com.
here is the 12 to 24 month range http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg...999942-2083113 They like hands on toys at that age. |
baby einstein might be good I dunno
just be careful about anything TV related i heard on the news today its confirmed that just1 hours of TV is too much for a one year old every hour they watch make them more suseptable to ADD it over stimulates the baby's brain |
Go to www.discoverystore.com
This is my first stop for all kid gifts. I bought one of their remote control Z Cars this past christmas. that thing will blow your mind. buy one for yourself. we played with that one all day christmas. amazing, amazing toy. |
Which shows does she like to watch? Dora The Explorer? Blue's clues?
My daughter loves Dora the Explorer. She got hooked on that show when she was 1 year old. So it was easy finding gifts :) |

Jewelry. And no, I'm not kidding. She probably already has more toys than she could ever play with and will be getting truckloads more. Jewelry she can wear anytime she's dressed up, having her picture made, holidays, etc. That usually gets remembered and kept long after the toys are gone.
Almost all jewelry stores carry baby and little girl jewelry. Even discount places like Wal-Mart, Target, etc, have it, if you're not looking to spend much. If her ears are pierced, get her some little pearl or 14 kt balls, or go with her birthstone. Try and get the screw-on backs because all the others come off easy. Also, make sure the posts are real gold so they won't irritate her ears. A necklace would be really good, too. Get her one with a little locket or maybe her birthstone. They usually have lots of choices. Bracelets are really cute, too. They even make little rings, but some babies won't wear them. You can get her a cheap toy to go with it, if you want her to have something "fun" from you. |

Give here Rubik's Cube.
Good for the eye-hand coordination. ehh... don't punish her for not solving the puzzle. |
Since she's really too young to appreciate anything you give her .. Why not buy her an educational savings bond?
When she's 18, she'll remember that a hell of a lot more .. than any toy you can give her :thumbsup |
|
Get her a nice pair of crotchless panties! :thumbsup
