I saw alot of people in the seminars and no one has anything to say about them or what they learned from them.
was it a waste of your time? |

The only two of use was the billing seminar at 10am the first day (although the person who thought of this time surely was laughing seeing me wake up that early!) and the state of the industry seminar. They're the only two which aren't really based around pitching something and are useful. The selling of video content and other content related seminars were of no use to me. WG |

It was especially good to meet all the people I already do business with and make some new connections, exchange ideas with people and even walked away with several contracts.
|
I met quite a few GFYer's that I had never met before and really enjoyed talking to them. Some notables were Eros, TDF, Media, WiredGuy, Halcyon, Keev and others... don't feel bad if I didn't mention you. I loved meeting everyone.
I got to hang with friends and meet new friends and even meet friends that I had only ever talked to online. I got quite a lot of business done, and learned a ton from great people such as Quentin, Lars, Mark (Matrix), Chaos, the GTS crew and many others. Vegas was fun... had a great time. But Phoenix was a networking dream come true. I highly recommend it to anyone who is serious about doing business in this industry. |

We did more business at this forum then we did with a 20 x 20 at internext. I love the format and the relaxed atmosphere of the show. It was well organized and well run.
I attended many of the seminars and got the most from the DRM I think. Great to see some old friends and make some new friends. Look forward to the next one. |

Phoenix was great, the weather could have been better, I didn't go to many parties, just popped into the LS/CCBill/Mansites suites for a few minutes a couple of nights -- I guess I'm old, I need to sleep each night to start a new day :) |

This was my first Phoenix forum and I loved it!!! It was big enough to keep me busy, but small enough to finally put names and voices to the faces I get so quickly introduced to at other shows.
Since a lot of the time focused on what smaller dinners you were attending, we had a lot of one-on-one time to really have conversations w/ great people... and REALLLLy network to find out how we can work together. I do wish the weather would've been better so the pool area networking would've been pumped up... but at least the rain let up on Sat. so LaurieX and I could get our mountain climbing in :) I'll definitely go back next year... thanks to all the sponsors and looking forward to the next event (Cybernet for sure... undecided on Atlanta right now) Cheers! It was a great show! Much more intimate than the larger shows. I was happy to get more one on one time with poeple that I had been wanting to talk to and everyone was very relaxed. Damn I am still sore from climbing that mountain LOL!

I was able to meet old clients, and visit with old friends as well as meet new ones.
Some of my most notable experiences: Meeting the whole phatserver crew, hitting the strip clubs with some ultra cool people and pretty much laughing my ass off all night long, great conversations and learning a lot from some good people like Quentin, LAJ, Voodoo...making great new friends like KimmyKim, John, ElvisManson, and Stevecore. Putting names to faces and having the greatest time with people like BT, JB, MaskedMan, Hank & Dawgy Seeing old friends and acquaintances like Easton, Dugmore, TDF, Tib, the whole purecash crew who I think are the funniest motherfuckers in the world, J-Reel, NastyD, Shok, Gabe, AaronM, Sleazy, Brad @ Sinbucks, Poppy, omg the list goes on. I went to the state of the industry and affiliate seminars learned somethings from both, but through both meet some very key people which helped me to learn even more. I may not walk away from Phoenix a rich man in terms of wealth and business, but who cares. I walked away a richer man in terms of developing key relationships and new friendships in this biz..which you can't put a monetary value on. |
Learned some direction in working the paysite end of the biz.

Solid show, well organized and graciously sponsored. The more intimate set up created a good atmopshere for networking. The DRM forum was the most interesting to me.
