I think I am gonna go see a shrink/behaviorist or whatever they are called
I have Anxiety Disorder. Started about 3 yrs ago out of nowhere. At first i blew it off not thinking much about it. Then it came back and such on and off. I would go out and feel like I was gonna loose it and get dizzy and nauseaus. It got to the point where i was avoiding going out and such. Went to my first doc, dipshit said my hemoglobin levels were high in my blood and to stop smoking. Ok cool. So i picked a new doc and he gave me Paxil. Shit worked and helped me alot but it was still there. He gave me Xanax also in case of emergencies. Now I am on Effexor and if i miss a dose or two i get dizzt to the point I have to get rest and cant function.
I have to seek a behavirist and attack this mentally and not rely on these meds cause they are not the best solution. So question is has anyone been to a behavoirist /shrink for anxiety? |
ur fucked in the head dude!!

Have you ever tried celexa? If not, talk to your doctor about it. I heard it works wonders, it has the least side effects of all the drugs for that.

Anyway you piece of shit, I was on Effexor at about 15 when I was dedicating my entire life to the industry... I was banking hard, but anxiety/depression was forming.. Basically, Your problem is you spend too much time on the computer and too little time interacting with people and exercizing your brain |

I've been going to shrinks since I was about 11... Don't know why the anxiety disorder came out when it did, but its a good thing effexor is around |
Effexor is very addictive. It is supposed to be non-habit forming, but ask people who have taken it for awhile what it's like when they run out. In my "other" life I used to have patients who would get sick as a dog, trying to come off it. Nausea, dizziness, and a lot of the other things you described are common symptoms.
I'd try and ween off it and take something else, if at all possible. Find a doctor to help you do it. Don't go cold turkey. |

read the book: Dont Panic, one of the best reads I have picked up on the subject. anxiety crept up on me as well, all of a sudden one day, started having panic attacks. educate yourself, or you will surely suffer. read this, trust me. http://www.odatgifts.com/Books/DontPanic.gif i have read it a few times. explains a lot about heart details and blood pressure associated with anxiety. take my word for it, just read it. :glugglug |

Seriously.. I used to have anxiety "attacks" (tho mild!) - it ended up caused by working my bollocks off and not having decent breaks! |

I've never really taken anything that was addicting, or that didnt get me addicted. It bugs me that when I tell people that I take effexor, they're like, "yeah, you gotta work on that, its crappy being up on drugs all the time".. Fuck you! I'm the same person, I dont feel tired, lazy, mopey or whatever, I just dont have as much anxiety crap :winkwink: |

I have a friend with that. She can't drive on freeways. Her anxiety attack kicks in and she starts hyperventilating and sweating. Its the weirdest thing to see. She can drive on regular roads fine, but she says she feels trapped on a highspeed highway.
She goes to those meetings with others that have the same problem. She's been going for years and still have anxiety attacks, so I don't know if that technique works much. |

Juicy, once again I hoping that you are making this all up for our entertainment.
If not do some internet research on anxiety and rather than taking drugs. Get outside and interact with people. BWT, take a Xanxa or two the first couple of times. :) |
Say it once and say it again. They are useless.
I beat mine with meds. I get small attacks still but it's because I'm a spaz. GL Juicy. |
Zoloft and Ativan worked for me.
