Kurt Cobain

1o years to the day of a tragic loss. Nirvana's influence on much of today's music is incomparable.

RIP Kurt.

i hate the kids that walk around with the suicide note on their t-shirts.

I learned about it when I came home from school. Oddly I left the radio on when I went to school that morning. I was answering the afterschool call of nature when I heard a fuzzy story about him being found with a gunshot wound. Pants pulled up, I ran to the tv and put on MTV of all places and waited for MTV News to break in and get the whole story.

Oh, the way in which he treated this story is also the reason I can't stand Andy Rooney.

Sarah_Jayne 04-05-2004 07:31 AM

oh and gym class the next day was a very sureal experence. Playing ping pong and talking the rights and wrongs of suicide.

Firehorse 04-05-2004 07:36 AM

Wow that 10 years went fast. 10 years later and his death is still steeped in controversy!

Frank The Tank 04-05-2004 07:38 AM

I'll never forget that day either..is the day befor or after my birthday...and was a huge fan..so in tribute..

Come as you are, as you were,
As I want you to be
As a friend, as a friend, as an old enemy
Take your time, hurry up
The choice is yours, don't be late
Take a rest as a friend as an old memoria

Come dowsed in mud, soaked in bleach
As I want you to be
As a trend, as a friend, as an old memoria

And I swear that I don't have a gun
No I don't have a gun

The singer was found dead at his home in Seattle on April 8 1994. However, it was thought that he had been dead a number of days, possibly taking his life as early as April 5.

Just bought the book LOVE & DEATH. It came out on April 3rd which is the day that crazy whore hired the PI Tom Grant. The two authors (Max Wallace and Ian Halperin) wrote a book some years ago but this is a definitive account of Tom Grant's ten year investigation of this laughable cover-up of a great american rock star.

He died of a massive heroin injection and was then was shot with his 20 gauge shot gun he bought from Kmart 3 weeks prior to his death for home protection. He had enough morphine in his blood to kill three severe addicts.

He was poisoned by worthless beat up whore who didn't want a divorce.:ak47:

:( The are still a favorite of mine.. They changed the face of music at the time from the crap that was being played non-stop. Does anyone see anyone new on the horizon that can do that again since we are getting back to a crap faze of music again..

scoreman 04-05-2004 12:47 PM

...listening to "In Utero" and having fond memories of the time I saw them live in Jacksonville, Florida at the Shriners Convention Center. One of the more memorable concerts I've ever seen.

Such a waste of talent.... really sad....

RIP
