15 or 16 im 25 currently working fulltime in an office. i hope the american dream eventually cashes in for me ;D

about 3 i have allways had cool jobs tho worst one ever was telemarketing which lasted 1 week :)

(1st time: was hired at age 16..had to be 18 to work there, and they never noticed my age on my license. not my fault. they never said i had to be a certain age.)

(2nd time: took off more than 3 days within 90 days of starting working there due to a family emergancy. i cant believe that they were allowed to fire me over that. its like firing someone for a no/call no/show for being dead :2 cents: )

Just 1, started as faxbitch with a major corp after finishing school. Lasted 3 weeks before walking out one lunchtime and never going back. Been my own boss since. No regrets.

I broke my neck and back so there was no choice but to quit.

My favorite was a crooked linux dotcom stock grab... Two weeks of bullshit then I told my boss his company sucked and walked out.

When I learned that my last employer had the guys in shipping wash the owners' cars, I quit.

I've quit at least 25 or 30 jobs and I've been fired from 15 or 20 I guess, mostly for insubordination. Something like that, they all kind of blur together now. I did survive my last job for 6 years but that was only because the pay was too lucrative to just walk away. Almost anyway. :)

I don't like other people to run my life and if I want to come in an hour late because the fish are biting, fuck it, that is what I'm going to do. If I want to take a spur of the moment road trip, you can either give me the time off willingly or I'll just quit, either way is fine with me. If I need a day off to catch up on Simpson's re-runs, I'm taking the day off.

Reading all these post about quiting jobs is making me want to quit my crappy gas station job right now.

I have only quit 6 jobs with notice to all except one. They were trying to get me to serve left overs to people at a resurant.

I have been at my current job for 2 years.

If your boss has been good to you, try to leave on decent terms. If not, fuck him, quit (but wait for a really busy day).

You have to live life man. Do you want to look back at all the stuff you could have done but didn't because your boss wouldn't give you the day off?

I know people that work 70 and 80 hours a week at a job and sure, they make killer money but they only get a few weeks a year to enjoy it. WTF? How do people live like that?

I find it sad that some people only get one week vacation a year. People deserve more than that.
