I always talk on the phone while driving, but I dont drive slow.

CDSmith 04-04-2004 08:25 PM

There may come a day when the Gov't introduces technology that, when placed at the side of a road, jams and disables cell phones completely as you approach a dangerous intersection or a tricky section of highway etc... just shuts them off for a while. Tough shit if it's an important call. The life it might save is probably more important than a phone call.

Good idea CD
Maybe someone should patent it, if they haven't already.

That would only cause MORE accidents bec. people would be freaking out and lookin at their phones to see what happened.

Jamming cell phone signal is illegal right now.
and also what if there was a serious accident on the road and you cant call 911 cause of this jammer??

If it's important, there's hands free. If not, they can talk to voicemail. Simple as that.
