This may be a stupid question, but is it safe to use a .us domain for an adult website?

when you focus on search engine work, the .us doesnt really matter.

as long as my results come up and i get the keywords i shoot for.

.us is just as profitable as any other.

depends what you are going for.

of course men.us might not be too cool.

but going for SE traffic

sexyshemales.us would do JUSt as good as sexyshemales.com

No you don't have to be American to register these, but you DO have to state whether or not you are, what kind of an entity you are, and what the intended purpose of the domain is.

These are also total shit for typeins, but at least you can get 'em for ~ $5.

Its a domain name. I can get it for $5.
It works just like any other one.

Provided I set the site up, it will get just as much attention as my current .net domain.....

I think the secondary domain game is a bunch of hype and a lot of people are getting sucked in.

im just saying its not a "total waste of money" provided what your intent it.

i no longer reg anything except .coms anyhow.

but I did pick up a couple .us when they launched, I prepaid, before they were available, so i grabbed a couple.

i specifically remember it being "us citizens only" guessing it was for prepaid .us registers through directnic.
