last time I broke a bone I was at a club and thought it was hilarious that everyone I was with slipped and fell on the spilled drinks around our table, last song of the night - I jumped up to dance, slipped on the dance floor and laughed like hell that my ass would be bruised the next day, then I wondered why I couldn't move my arm......

10 hours later I was told I'd broken 3 bones and taken a big chip out of my elbow :(

Also, if you're hurting from the bruising get a supply of Arnica, it will take down the swelling and bruising faster than anything the doc will prescribe.

I fractured mine last year in three places. Took about 8 months for the pain to go away. Fun times.

I broke my wrist this past summer skating and it sucked. I had to have a full arm cast for several months and then they cut part of it off and I had just a cast up to my middle arm.

I know your pain. I broke both my arm bones same spot when I was young on a sledding accident. I was in front had friends behind and we stirred right into a tree and the wrist went snap.

I broke my left wrist in Jan of 89 took the Drs until 94 to find the brake, had surgury in Feb of 95 (I have a hurbert screw in the left scaphoid) and I am in more pain then before the surgury. But I can tell when it is going to rain 7-10 days before it rains.
