Is it me, or have men become much less dominate in the last 30 yrs?

The situation between men and women is sad! Men seem to be leaning toward the dominate women so much more now.. or maybe it's always been like that I don't know.. but I have noticed it.. example: sex chat rooms. About 6 yrs ago, before I met Buzzard, we used to frequent these rooms, and I can't tell you the number of times a guy has messaged me and asked for something like a whipping, or a spanking or something along that line.. so many submissive men.. dang.. what the hell is up with that? What happened to the days where a man was a man, taking charge, taking care of his woman, being the master of the house? I can tell you from experience that a man like that is almost impossible to find. What happened to them all? Of course there are a lot of wanna be master of the house types out there.. but most just don't have what it takes to pull it off. I think one of the major things that's affected the relationship between men and women is women's lib.. many saw that as a good thing.. but not me.. I see it for what it really is.. peer pressure to act in an unatural way.. these days, men and women just don't know who the hell they are anymore or what place they need to have in life to be happy. Me.. if I ever decide to get together with someone else again.. I want a man, not some wimpped out little boy that wants a mommy. Oh, and there's another thing I noticed in those chatrooms.. I was 47 at the time and all I had to do was mention my age.. and my pm's lit up like a christmas tree.. all young men, most young enough to be my sons, wanting to talk sex to an older woman..

In the 70's the whole women's lib movement went into high gear and changed everything. Women wanted to do what men did. They wanted power. They wanted equal pay. They sent their kids to daycare while they went into the workplace. The traditional family structure went downhill.

yes I totally agree.. women thought they were missing something.. so they went the route of competing with their men instead of serving them like they were meant to.. this brought forth a lot of new generations of screwed up kids that don't know what place they need to be in order to be happy

You're right KRL... look what it got them too.. now women HAVE to work in order to make ends meet. I had mixed feelings on ERA when it was going on. Teenagers then didn't try to butt in to 'adult stuff' very often as you know. lol So I listened but was never sure if it was good or bad. I don't have mixed feelings on it any more tho. ;-)

Most of these kiddies like to talk tough but grovel to anything female that takes the time to peak to them. OR they pay for it, OR they talk a story. lmao

I have one of the old school men Tia. D*mn it can be hard to deal with having spent 2/3's of my adult life with the other kind of males. I dont know how it is where you ilve, but there are some ideas about relationship in this country that are ... well, refer to the top post. : \ ... then theres what I call 'correct relationship.' ... I cannot really describe it because I feel there are very deep agreed upon commitments that are already in place that just need to be realized by each person.

I know where I am in correct relationship, and Am basically frustrated because I see how much work is required in myself before I can even provide a woman what she needs and take care of you correctly. Thats why :)

I was flaming in my first post,.. it happens a bit : \ .. I just see myself where I am now, and see what Is required for me to be a a better man, and Its just huge :( thats why im frustrated I guess. I want to provide, yes, and (dontknow for sure) I wont get into a relationship unless I have a solid, 'correct', foundation built. By correct I mean I was raised in this culture (im22) and what I learned and saw around me growing up is very different that where I want to be. And Where I am now and the location which I see as 'correct' are so far apart like I said. And I apologize for my flames, I do that sometimes.

part of it may be equal rights and all the rest of that crap. part of it may just be that society changed. women went into the work force which had been dominated by men for centurys and started "demanding" rights. and if they couldn't get them --they started using legal means to get them. does anyhahahaha ( ohhh ... i guess we can't refer to B O D I E S anymore ... censorship !! guess we don't have to worry fuck-all about spelling either ... ) know what the number 1 feared law suit in corporate america is today ? --sexual harrasment. hard to defend. black eye no matter what. which is why so many companies have rules now about NOT dating anyhahahaha in the work place. used to be the other way around. companies ENCOURAGED that type of behavior. tie not one but TWO family members to the company and they'd never leave.

It's really hard to admit...and frustrating, too. But there IS a tendency of men becoming feminine..in a way...What I mean to say is...It only looks as if they've acquired this feminine quality of being weak, though it's something completely new and unprecedented, I think. There used to be a concept of a woman being weak and unable to take care of herself. But it was only a concept. I strongly believe women have always been strong. Otherwise they wouldn't have been able to raise kids and have families. They only pretended to be weak once in a while. They needed this "acquired/learned quality" to attract men and achieve their goal in the end.(men don't like strong women generally).
But all these sufragettes and feminists with their endless manifestoes have caused a bit of a stir in the society/ Now there's no need to pretend, and now that men see the real side of women they feel intimidated.

It all goes back to that fact that women have a vagina and men want that vagina, and will do most anything to get it. :2 cents:
