What are your partypoker stats usually like? Heres my last hour

Hands Played: 73
Hands Won: 34%
Showdowns Won: 95%

Flops Seen: 85%
Win % flops seen: 39%

stocktrader23 04-03-2004 10:03 PM

Man, it really depends on how I'm playing. When I play tight and look for the big kills my %'s are way down. When I bluff and just abuse the hell out of the table they are similr to yours. I don't really look at them too much but I'll keep an eye on it now. :winkwink:

Those are great btw.

Plan9 04-03-2004 10:08 PM

85% of flops seen?!
Your hands won is impressive, but what kind of hands are you actually taking to the flop here? There's no way you could be getting hands worth playing, 85% of the time.
And more importantly - how much money have you won from these hands? :winkwink:

I play 85% of my hands on a short NL table. It's all relative. I can win with nothing so what does it matter?

detoxed 04-03-2004 10:10 PM

87% flops seens, and yes i always have a hand worth playing. It doesnt matter what you have, it matters if what you have is better than what the other people have.

detoxed 04-03-2004 10:12 PM

I only play on 1/2 tables... I'm up $140 since yesterday.

What do you consider a hand worth playing?

If you are playing 87% of your hands on a full limit table you have been extremely lucky. Most people would be down hundreds by now. Now heads up or a really short table is a different story.

detoxed 04-03-2004 10:15 PM

face card, straight, flush, or a good feeling on 2 number cards.

89% flosp seen, 40% win. Up $167 since yesterday now

All I can say is that you've been incredibly lucky up to this point. Consider tightening up your play, it'll help you out in the long run.

Ash@phpFX 04-03-2004 10:16 PM

i think the more important statistic is how much money you win :2 cents:

1000 hands is not a sample. I play 1000 hands a day. Also, I'm up way more than $160 on 1000 hands.

detoxed 04-03-2004 10:17 PM

You guys gotta remember, these losers fold the numbered cards early, so if the flop doesnt show face cards, you have a good chance of winning if you are still in

Cool, and congrats on the win. You will catch a table with decent players eventually and they'll eat those small cards up though. I play low stuff on NL but it's a completely different game.

'Losers' dont fold numbered cards early...smart poker players do :2 cents:
...the exception of course being on a flush or open ended straight draw, with pot odds in your favor. But in general, playing like that, you will lose in the long run.
