i want a breakdown on a per-country basis of the popularity of football(soccer)... bear in mind it's called 'football' just about everywhere except for the USA...

i want stats of the rise and fall of the popularity of the sport... versus other sports in a pie graph, whatever.... the link i find the most useful wins when I think I've seen 'the Promised Link' from the heavens... thx

oh, and i'm looking for more of a 'fans' perspective... how many fans, not 'players' per se... although i suppose the amount of players could be construed as relavant to the number of fans
