I saw one of my old friends get into a car crash today and I didn't do anything...

I was driving by when I saw her on her cell phone balling her eyes out and the front of her Lexus smashed to pieces in between a caravan and a sunfire.

The WIERD thing was literally a minute before I made the turn I thought of her, and I havn't talked to her in at least 2 years.

Should I have stopped and tried to help out? I didn't know what to do, so I just kept going. What would you have done?

SMG 04-03-2004 01:14 AM

I'd assume it might be smart to help O_o

stocktrader23 04-03-2004 01:14 AM

Stopped. And I always think of old friends right before I see them. I also get sick when something bad is happening even if I don't know what it is yet.

Why didn't you help?

Jeff aka NIGHTfall 04-03-2004 01:14 AM

if she looked OK i wouldnt have bothered... but if they looked in badshape, i would stop, for anyone, but you shouldnt let it bother you man, it would have been a bad time to remeet someone anyway.

modelgigtalent 04-03-2004 01:14 AM

You should have stopped.

Doctor Dre 04-03-2004 01:14 AM

You should have came back and try to help her if she needed assistance . Was it a real big accident ?

Jade 04-03-2004 01:15 AM

Sounds like an easy answer to me. You should have stopped and helped her! Is there one good reason why you didn't? I'm sure she would have appreciated your help.

Doctor Dre 04-03-2004 01:15 AM

Hell when ppl are stuck on the side we go out and help them even tough we don't know them ... So YES you should have stoped no matter what :)

Id helped for sure, but dont feels bad about that... this is too shocking and in the moment you dont have time to think, is not a normal situation...

Well she was definetly not hurt, she seemed very paniced while talking on her cell phone. It wasn't a huge crash, one side of the front of her car was literally smashed though. I'm thinking of giving her a call tommorow to see how everything turned out, but I hope she doesn't get mad I didn't stop.

Manowar 04-03-2004 01:19 AM

So instead of helping a woman who'd just been in a car accident and was one of your old friends. You came back to gfy and told us about it?

This happened 7 1/2 hours ago, around 8:00 pm, it's now just about 3:30 am.

Jade 04-03-2004 01:26 AM

If you call her to see how she is you'd better tell her someone else told you about it cause if she know's you drove by and didn't stop she will definitely think poorly of you.

SmutGiant 04-03-2004 01:26 AM

I really regret not stopping!!! Fuck this is gonna eat me up for a while!!

I just went to grab a coffee and on my way back (5-10 min) everything was towed away and was like nothing had happened.

WicKed NinJas 04-03-2004 01:52 AM

definatly would have stopped and helped..you never know what would come from it. It could have been a chance for the 2 of you to build a friendship. Sometimes the best friends can be Ex's from years back.

stephanie m. 04-03-2004 01:53 AM

Shoulda stopped

is it matter of being friends ? not at all , I would stop and help to anyone who crashed with their car

KRL 04-03-2004 05:44 AM

Doesn't sound like you are much of a friend if you saw her crying, in a car accident, and then just kept on going.

That's a friend?

:BangBang:
