Demo of Raptor Protection Up!
Hey GFY'ers,
Just like to say we have put up a demo of the Raptor Protection software for people who have expressed interest to give it a try. Please excuse the graphics we are waiting for the final design to be ready. Our beta testing program has been going well and we are putting the finishing touches on the program now. Thanks to all the people who helped out. We are looking for some programs or some high profile sites to adopt the software for market exposure, if interested please get in touch with me over icq or e-mail [email protected] for more details. NOTE: This is not script based except for the login form, it is an apache custom built authentication and tracking module. http://www.raptorprotection.com/demo V |

How does it stand up to proxy pass?

It is not even like proxy pass in my opinion.
I didn't want to build something that "mitigated" proxy attacks by tracking, logging, and then taking action. Proxy pass is a good system but still it didn't take care of brute force attacks. As you can see the use of the random number makes brute force attacks obsolete. They now have to guess a dynamic number before the password and username even gets checked. That makes hacking with software based "proxy attacks" useless in my opinion. This technology is not new, it is being used on lots of main stream sites to prevent automated signups. We are just taking it a step farther and bringing the tracking of bandwidth and logins to protect against password sharing. Building it for adult sites. I built it in an Apache module so it is not script based which allows complete "Basic Authentication" type protection. =) V |

I hope I have answered your question. It is really hard to compare a software that uses a different authentication model then the default apache/browser pop-up window method. V |
You can checkout our Anti-Hotlinking technology here:
