ARS first introduced the BYOT program, Build Your Own Tour, and we are now opening phase two of its reinvention, ARS C.H.A.M.P.S: Content Hosting Affiliate Management & Payment System! You can create your own paysites using top quality DVD content provided by our content provider; and you can now promote every site in the C.H.A.M.P.S network! New sites are added all the time for your promotion.

You create your tour and a matching members' area, update it once a month and get paid per signup, or choose to be paid by the revenue share option. C.H.A.M.P.S has just been fully released and all ARS publishers/webmasters can promote these sites and get paid per sign up or by revenue share - the choice is yours! The payout schedule is as follows:

On your own traffic:
Rev Share program, you are paid $16.00 per initial signup and $16.00 per rebill.

I guess the only way to find out how CHAMP will work is going to be to try it, but I can't see anything to set it apart from existing programs of this type.

When Marc De wrote here a couple of months ago about the upcoming changes, he sounded positively evangelical. So I really did expect more than a cobbling together of things that others were already doing.

CHAMP in particular is based almost entirely on very ordinary, non-exclusive content. As such, the main thing going for it is whatever magic the ARS name still holds for some webmasters.

No, ARS C.H.A.M.P.S. is not an AVS; all content is hosted at adultvideplanet.com and fully licensed. Webmasters are selling a video product with a custom tour and custom member's area.

If you have your own content you can get it approved, look at the arsCHAMPS forums, alot more info about this than here.

You can Alan, as long as the content is exclusively yours. You can't use 3rd party content though (owned by other people as well). Also, you don't give up rights at all to your exclusive content; it is still your content. You would be giving a limited license to OMS giving them the right to host the content and use it on their site Adult Video Planet (using it only on the webmaster's submitted site).

The idea is to have custom members areas...not the same 3rd party content that's in the 'typical' members areas of any given site. This will keep members around longer and webmasters makikng more money.

Amber - I'd do another run through of your system real quick. The first content page I pulled up had "red x's" on half the thumbnails on the page.

Just a heads up someone isn't doing there job.

On another page, same thing 5 red x's.

I don't see lots of content choices in there for a program with as many webmasters as you guys have.
