It is a great 3 day event in the City of Atlanta. 100 acts on 9 or so stages. $45 for the weekend.

Roadhouse Blues, although I really like almost anything by the Doors. Jim Morrison was so hot.

Axzar, when I lived in Georgia I wanted to go to the Midtown Music Festical every year, but every year something seemed to come up at the last minute and I couldn't go. All my friends would go every year, though. They say it's alot of fun. And how can you beat seeing so many bands for one price for the whole weekend? The only problem is when there are two bands that you want to see very much playing on two different stages at the same time. One year a couple of my friends were tearing out their hair trying to decide whether to watch Blues Traveller or Phish (I'm pretty sure it was those two bands.). I think they ended up deciding to see Blues Traveller because they know the guys from Phish and they could see them almost anytime. But they were rather disappointed, anyway. That's the only real problem with the Festival. :)

I don't know man, I couldn't bring myself to see the so called Doors now. I really think they're milking the name. It's like Calling yourself the Beatles without John & George. I mean, Morrison pretty much was the doors & Densmore won't play with them because he feels the same way. You grab the lead singer from the cult who is such a morrison poser and he sounds like shit singing the songs. It would be cool to hear Ray and Robby Jamming again but under different circumstances.
