Do you keep a TV on while you work?
 

I like to.

I dont watch tv.
Just turn it on in the morning to check weather + how the Canadian Dollar is doing.

Sometimes, if its something i'm interested in, i either get the Sky+ (uk version of tivo) to record it or if im interested but not a lot turn it off completely because it will distract me from work

No. I have a love hate relationship with TV. Unless I'm watching the Discovery channel (whichever one at the time), I'm not terribly interested.


But you can bet your ass that my music is on!

if there is an interesting court trial on court tv i will let that go through most of the day but at night its horror movies and south park. or forensic shows, court tv is usually the only channel i can stand.

but usually it's ust music. less distracting.

always. either on the news or whatever i Tivo'ed the night before. never have been a big music fan, but can not work in a quite office. need the background noise...

I watch the news every ten days and a soccer game every two weeks....and that's it :thumbsup

Same here... with 4 or 5 hundred channels it's a hard habit to break:thumbsup

my tv is right next to my computer, I keep it on comedy central all day.

i do ..but i tune it out

I have a TV in each room and a TV stays on 24/7.

Now the hubby told me that they no longer have an off switch!! Its on 24/7. But he doesn't sleep as much as most people so at any given time when we're in bed he's flipping channels. lol Guess thats better than him being at the strip joint down on the corner!

Only when it's a good hockey,baseball,football ... game.

No not at work or at home (while working) can't concentrate myself

I usually do. Problem is I work in my loft and the TV I keep on is in my den so if something happens, I can look over through the railing :winkwink:

But I usually just leave it on the same channel that has the Today show and later on the local news. Damn if someone won't call during the day and ask me why I'm watching soap operas, lol! I try to explain that I'm not watching and in fact I'm not even really listening, but they still think I'm nuts. :(

I've changed the channel to other things, but since I really just have it on as background noise, I never catch any of it, so there's no point.
