Bonsai trees!

Anybody interested in Bonsai trees?

I am thinking about getting one or more and put in my terrarium for effect.

Does anyone know of an online place that has a decent selection of developed Bonsai trees and that ships to Europe?

Yeah, Bonsais are cool, but do you know how to take care of them? :(

Moderate to little water every once in a while? And some pruning? It can't be that hard.

Bonsai trees are pimp , they would look good in a woodland garden

mattyboy 04-01-2004 12:59 PM

I have 11 of them, just starting to bud again now the weather is getting better.

What did you pay for them, or did you cultivate them yourself?

mattyboy 04-01-2004 01:06 PM

From around £10 - £150 each.
See my thread here http://www.gofuckyourself.com/showth...hreadid=262764 and you'll see a few if you look closely. (check out the cascading tree in the tall pot):thumbsup

They are pretty cool things to own, but better to grow!

Here's mine. 23 years old but is looking sickly lately. I have to take it in to have it looked at. Hope I didn't kill it.

I don't know if they ship to Europe, but I've ordered others through:

www.bonsaiboy.com

Thanks for the link, unfortunately they do not ship internationally. "<i>We do not ship Internationally (including Canada and Mexico)</i>"

Otherwise I would have bought this one: http://www.bonsaiboy.com/catalog/product32.html

i would kill it..but they are cool looking

I would not reccomend a conifer if you dont trust the seller... they can be dead up to 6 months before you realize they have died.

The sap will stop flowing but the tree will appear alive.

I have a ferw bonsais and they do neet to be maintined almost daily.

Scandinavia. I haven't seen many Bonsai trees sold in my country, and the few I have seen go for the same price as a decent car. lol

I am soon off to Sweden though, maybe I'll find something there.
