Audrey Seiler, a 20-year-old honor student at the state's flagship university, disappeared early Saturday, leaving her apartment door open and leaving behind her coat and purse. Her image was caught on a surveillance tape at her apartment building as she left.

She was found Wednesday in a marshy area of Madison about two miles from campus shortly after someone spotted her and called police, authorities said. Seiler was treated at a hospital and released about five hours later.

Blackamore said Seiler told police she was taken at knifepoint and held in captivity but not harmed. She said she did not know her abductor.

after being attacked last month or a couple weeks ago, not sure when, she was suppose to be looking out for herself and only going out with a group or friends.
then she leaves her apartment, leaves the door open, doesnt take her purse, and no one sees anyone else with her.....now she is found in a marsh? sounds odd.

Just saw the news conference on CNN...the police said that there were some "inconsistencies" in the evidence...But they released a composite sketch of some white man or whatever....

Interesting. I read a article once on fake abductions. Yes people do fake it a lot I guess. And the most common abduction description was of a black male. I guess they always thought it was more believable.

here's a Clue . If you've seen the actual video they caught of her in the apartment lobby, She seems to waiting for someone to pick her up. She claims she didn't know the suspect, Maybe she did.

And what the fuck, in febuary i believe, she was assulted from behind, dragged like three blocks from where she was and left there. No rape, no robbery. Just like this incident. I don't know, maybe she has a stalker who doesn't have the balls to go through with his intentions, but the whole thing smells like bullshit.

A Department of Revenue employee who called 911 yesterday after spotting Seiler in the marshy area near the DOR building is not talking to the media...Seiler allegedly told the woman she was a college student and she goes to the marsh to relax. :disgust

I personally think she disappeared for a few days on her own will (possibly with a guy) and when her friends/family reported her missing, she made up the story so she wouldn't look like an ass. :2 cents:

come out of her own mouth. Even though the cops are keeping
a lid on any info leaks enough is already out to show she is

What makes it suspicious is this isn't the first unusual thing to happen to her.
On Feb.1.2004 she was hit on the head and dragged behind a building...according
to her she wasn't robbed, raped, beaten (other than the head bonk), and she was
still in possession of her purse and other belongings.

So this one was she decided at 2:30 in the morning to go to the lobby of her dorm
and meet someone. She left her door open and was waiting in the lobby (where the
surveillance photos of her were taken) and it's from there she disappears for 4 days.

Once again not robbed, beaten, raped, or otherwise.

You got to ask yourself...what are the odds.

She's an attention whore, thats why she lied.

Someone who worked near the swamp where she was found. They were
on a lunch break and saw her in the swamp and called the cops.
The cops told the witness to not say anything further to anyone.

This guy was hiding out in a marshy area in plain sight with a kidnap victim?!?!? Or if he was going to shoot her...you'd think he'd at least attempt to get away from where people would hear the shot/s. It's not like Wisconsin is wall to wall cities. lol

They just held a news conference. I saw it on CNN. She has now admitted she lied and was not kidnapped and that she just "needed to be alone." She does still claim that she was abducted at knifepoint LATER, though.

But I just called the Madison PD because sadly, the police sketch looks almost exactly like Craig T. Nelson who played Haden Fox on the tv show Coach. Oddly enough, he was coach of the "Minnesota Screaming Eagles" on the show and Audrey is from Minnesota. Could be a coincidence, but I thought they should at least ASK her about it. Maybe that's where she got her "suspect."
