What % of its users would GFY lose if it disabled sigs altogether?

I would guess anywhere from 20-40% would be lost.

notjoe 04-01-2004 07:32 AM

Would you leave?

I wouldnt leave!

Spunky 04-01-2004 07:41 AM

tranza 04-01-2004 08:13 AM

Doctor Dre 04-01-2004 08:17 AM

A lot of newbs . None of the members that matter would leave ... ppl already know about their buisiness

Jdoughs 04-01-2004 08:18 AM

I think losing 20% would make it definately not worth changing it..i think youd lose good posters in there as well who post to promote themselves

kowntafit 04-01-2004 08:22 AM

I think too many would leave.

They would just become far less active.

sexsup 04-01-2004 10:30 AM

There would be less posts for sure

strobi 04-01-2004 10:32 AM

90%+ The boards are a way to advertise your stuff.

High Quality 04-01-2004 10:34 AM

It would be a lot less. But lenz wouldn't dream of it. $2500 for a top banner spot dude :)

emmanuelle 04-01-2004 10:35 AM

You can promote effectively without a sig.

If a sig was all that mattered, then hahahahahahaha would be far more successful. It's the attitude conveyed by the poster that matters, not just a banner impression.

shogun3k 04-01-2004 10:42 AM

I think alot of new people to the boards, myself included use sigs cus its just a nice bit of cash. I dont think its integral to my staying here.

nnk 04-01-2004 01:29 PM

i think i would be about 60% but I won't vote ;)

KMR Stitch 04-01-2004 01:32 PM

I would still be around =) :thumbsup

DR_PHIL 04-01-2004 01:34 PM
